Gah, last post for the year, last 24 hrs of 2008... I gotta admit, I'm feeling pretty nostalgic and emo. You know at these times, they ask you to look back upon the year and reflect. For me, I think I played too much during the holidays to remember all the memories from school. :P But there's this very lasting memory of 2008, the one in the first semester, where all the homework and assignments seemed endless, I was sleeping at 12am, 1am in the morning, struggling to keep awake during classes and juggling softball and school. That was the darkest period in this whole year. I thought I couldn't last but praise be to God, I survived it. LOL, but however, I didn't have the stamina to pull through the second semester which also encompassed the EOYs. I think I slacked quite a bit during EOYs revision, I just couldn't find the strength to go on. Thank God, He was faithful and helped me pull through once again. Though my results for EOYs weren't up to my expectations, I'm still contented with it, because I believe that that God has planned for me to get this mark and I should be grateful considering that I slackened. :P Praise the Lord!

Today started out as a pretty bad day for me. I was at the bus stop, waiting to take a bus to school and when it finally came, I stood up, waiting to board. Before I could gather my things to get up and take the bus, it drove off without turning in, just like that. The next bus came at 7.50+, which Yu Lian boarded with me cuz he didn't know where the new campus was and he insisted on waiting for me though I asked him to go first with Rachel Yong. =.= Well, I guess I WAS happy he waited for me in the end so I wouldn't have to awkwardly walk in to cheerleading but I ended up feeling bad for making him late THE WHOLE BUS RIDE.

Not to mention, when we arrived, the cheerleaders were already outside the hall, getting ready to cheer, with Ms Chan and Mrs Chin listening and giving comments so when we walked in, it WAS VERY AWAKWARD, what with Mrs Chin always emphasising on punctuality. :X

Oh and to top the whole great day off, I was chosen to lead the Y1 welcome cheer with Song Shan during homecoming this friday. Now don't get me wrong, not that there's something wrong with Song Shan, he's a funny guy. Oh and not because I don't want to lead the school, it's an HONOUR. Well, I guess I'm afraid that I'll screw up. Dang, God please grant me the courage and help me to do my best!

So yeah, it was a pretty lousy day for me. NOTHING was going right, PLUS I couldn't sleep last night. Thank God I wasn't grouchy, just lousy. LOL! Ate lunch with Yaki and Yong Ku Ku then went home, and slumped around in bed.

Which was around the time when Vick sms-ed me that she changed her mind and wanted to go bowling AGAIN. Wow. Well, I didn't regret it. I enjoyed the outing, though my bowling skills were TOTALLY NOT IN FORM TODAY so I didn't get to trash Alex like I wanted. Or maybe, it wasn't my bowling skills but SOMEBODY who was there, CHEERING me on. Now, what's wrong with the cheering, you ask? Well, when it comes from the dear NENE, EVERYTHING'S WRONG. Oh gosh, how I wish I could toot her right now... Gah, anyway, seeing her in 2 hrs time... So NENE, WATCH OUT!Hahas, ah well, guess I'm feeling better now. Hope everyone has a great New Year's Eve and 2009!
