Surprise, surprise! I changed the template of my blog to a skin!!! I LUV it! I even added some music!!! Hope you peeps like it cuz' I do! Ok, now that I have a skin AND music, I've just about solved all the mysteries of a blog template, excluding the photos part, of course. So I'm happy. *xing fu smile*

Ok, I know I'm supposed to be happy but you know me, it's not long before it's something unpleasant again... Yep! You guessed it! Something happened. Remember the last blog entry when I told you that I was going to Serene's house to do the duty list??? Yea, that's the one. When I was just about to go home and saving the file on her com, the thing lagged and the screen showed that it was saved already so I happily cancelled the file and prepared to go home when I double-checked my diskette space and found out that the thing was never saved!!! Grrr!!!! Seriously. Which means my trip to Serene's house was practically wasted except that we managed to save at least the P2's duty list. Haiz... As if that was not enough, on the way to the bus-stop, I had to go across a grass patch and it was raining at the time so the grass was kinda muddy. The slippers that I was wearing was kinda slippery (it is the only slip-ons I have so dun blame me) so although I tried to avoid the muddy parts, it still led me to the water. By the time I got out of the grass patch, my legs were dirty, slippers were muddy AND little bits of grass were stuck to my leg. Yuck!

Anyway, I went to Lydia's house yesterday to play. We wanted to bake something using the recipe book that Lydia got for Christmas so we chose a Peppermint ice cream pie. After making sure what ingredients we had to buy from the nearby minimart, we set off. But it was not to be. We just HAD to meet the San Ge Lao Da, actually only two of them, on the way to the mini mart and they too, spotted us. We just walked away coolly. Not exactly what an average student would react to the two "coolest boys"(they think) in school but hey, we ARE average and what do you expect us to do? We have totally nothing to talk about AND in this generation, talking to a schoolmate of the opposite sex on the streets would be counted as DESPERATE and ACTION. Don't ask me why. Trust me, I don't know too.

Oh well, so I kinda finished my part of the duty list today. That's why I can sit down and finally blog. Still waiting for Serene and Bryant to e-mail me their part since Dave has already done that so I'm really carefree now. *another xing fu smile* (In case you were wondering, the two Lao Das IS Dave and Bryant.) Merry Belated Christmas, everyone! It has been a great christmas this year although I haven't received as many presents as I received last year, I think, but as usual, the presents this year are great but well, not many are what I want but ya know... Thanks everyone for all the presents especially Sheena and Lydia, my two best friends, luv it! I hugged the teddy bear that Sheena gave me to sleep last night and I put all my necklaces in the cute box Lydia gave me! Not saying that I don't like all the other presents I received but there are just so many to list. Thanks! I now realise how many thingI have although the number of presents have decreased... Haiz... Oh well... You know what they always say... "Count your blessings".

Now to tell you people what exactly happened on 24 December, Sunday. To refresh your memory, the choir was supposed to perform at the Grand Mercure Roxy hotel. Ok, here goes. I'm hurting myself to recount all the incidents to you... On that fateful day, I decided that since it was my last performance, yes, I'm about to quit choir, I would try to memorise my lines as the "host" but something JUST had to happen. The first 3 paragraphs were quite ok but towards the end, I panicked and JUST had to forget my lines. It was so obvious! When I was supposed to start, I kept nodding my head to Miss Choo, our conductor, in a way that was like asking if I could start now when actually, I forgot my lines and was stalling for time. And then when I fianlly decided that I could do it, I FORGOT MY LINES!!! Haiz... ANOTHER thing to add to the " Latinqueen Regina's embarassing moments" and "Latinqueen Regina's life rox to the core" list. Oh well! Got to go to Serene's house later to allocate the duties for the prefects next year so bye! Latinqueen Regina signing out!

Ok. Seriously. I'm an embarassment. My throat just had to fail me at that time! I was hiccupping like crazy at classes today, I mean if you're thinking that I drank gassy drinks for lunch, I didn't. So what triggered off the hiccups??? I actually hiccupped in the middle of class and very loudly cuz' I didn't really expect it. Imagine all eyes were looking at me then... I just thought of a worst case scenario. Here it is:

Teacher: Latinqueen Regina, could you please read the passage on page 5?

Latinqueen Regina: *hiccup* Sure... Once, *huccup* there was a lion *hiccup* who was as *hiccup* timid as *hiccup* a *hiccup*mouse...

*Whole class exasperated, Latinqueen Regina oblivious to them and carries on reading and hiccupping*

Teacher: It's alright, Latinqueen Regina! You can stop reading now...

Latinqueen Regina: *Unexpectedly loud hiccup* Huh?

*Whole class gives up*

Ok... It didn't happen and boy, am I glad it didn't....

3 more days to Christmas peeps! I'm so excited! But that also means that school is starting REAL soon... It kinda sucks, ya know? When it was the holidays, I kept complaining that it was so boring and I wanted to go to school again but now that the holidays are coming to an end, I kinda miss chilling out at my computer at home... Haiz... What can I say? Humans are NEVER satisfied, that includes me... (In case you're wondering if I'm human. Hahas!)

The performance at Downtown East didn't went as well as expected though. The choir was singing very softly but we still smiled and grinned like there was no tomorrow. I don't think the management at Downtown East would want us to sing for them next year. Seriously. We were THAT soft. I just hope that we will do better today... Gotta go get ready for the performance later! Latinqueen Regina, out!

Oh great! Finally got to blog now! I was cleaning the trophy cabinet for my mum like the whole day (didn't manage to do it yesterday). Now my hands are all numb from cleaning and squeezing the cloth... Haiz... So tired... I'm sure a measly $10 is not worth spoiling my beautiful skin right??? But anyway, what's done cannot be undone and at least I'm getting paid for it...

Yesterday, I watched the Channel 5 program "Girls Out Loud" and it was really funny with Wendy aka Xiaxue and Roz hosting the program. Especially yesterday's program when they were featuring something about technology which is Wendy's forte cuz' there was also blogging. And there was also a showdown between Wendy and Mia Tan about their recent sparring that started about the Aerosols foam spraying incident. I strongly recommend you all to watch it every Monday at 10. It rox to the core although yesterday was the first time I was watching it...

Oh well... I got choir practice tomorrow. Been a long time since we had practice... I have missed like 2 practices cuz' of the Florida trip so tomorrow, there's gonna be a lot of catching up to do... We're packed with performances from Friday onwards all the way to Sunday so it's gonna be quite tiring... Choir is also another activity like Netball. Although we win a lot of awards, the teachers say that we have very little self-discipline... Haiz... Why am I always joining all those kind of activities??? You know what I mean... As in those kind of activities that have little self-discipline (in case some of you get the wrong idea). I'm in need desperate need for some recreation so tata! Until I blog again!

It's raining, AGAIN... And it happened during netball practice... *Glares at clouds* Grrr!!! For your own reading pleasure, here's a conversation which took place between me and the black clouds.

LQR: No offence but Monsieur Black Clouds, you have been showering water on us for the past few days. Could you please take a rest now? *In sweetest voice*

MBC: Um... No?

LQR: Why not? Hmph!

MBC: Cuz' I have too much water in my body.

LQR: Can't you go to the toilet to let the water out? At least it won't wet our grounds...

MBC: I'm too big to go to the toilets, plus it probably won't hold all the water that I have. And... *Carries on letting out a string of excuses*

LQR storms off.

MBC: She's gone? Oh great! Time to take a rest... *Falls asleep while letting out loud snores*

Well then, at least I managed to get him to stop for now...


Oh yeah! I just remembered that I promised some netball updates. Well, guess what??? We won!!!! And I finally got to play shooter!!!! At least, for one quarter. Even though we won the match, I don't think coach is that happy. She says that that was the reserve team so we shouldn't be too "happy" cuz' we haven't seen the real team play yet... Oh well... So much for winning a friendly match... Got to go clean the trophy cabinet for my mum. She's paying me for it. Haiz... At least I don't have to do homework for the day! =) Until I blog again, me hearties!

I'm sick! I really am sick... Ok wait. Is reading your blog posts a million times being sick? Yes? I'm sick. Ok, here's the scoop. I read my blog posts a million times and I think I'm sick. Oh great! Another thing to add to the "Latinqueen Regina's life rox to the core" list. Ok let me justify myself. It's my first time having a personal blog so there's nothing wrong with reading it a MILLION times. Yeah! Ok! I'm cool! Latinqueen Regina's back to normal again! (At least before she's on finding another problem with herself AGAIN!!!)

Ok! So NOT looking forward to netball practice tomorrow! The final practice before the BIG day!!! Ok, maybe not that big but still, big right? Coach will be screaming at us since the last time we failed her BIG time. Don't worry! I will update all of you on our progress. That is, if we're making any.

Was listening to some music today and found one song to be quite interesting. It is by Zhou Hua Jian ( Sorry, don't have Chinese font) named Wo Men Bu Ku, translated in English is We will not cry. It's quite meaningful in a way that in the lyrics, it says something like "We will not cry in our bedrooms at home after our break-up becuase maturity will make all our pain lessen." All I can say is, that is deep stuff. I like. Not that I like break-ups and all but the lyrics is quite meaningful though. Ok see you tomorrow! Latinqueen Regina signing out!

I'm NOT a computer junkie! I'm NOT a computer junkie, seriously. Although I do like playing Club Penguin and maybe Neopets, Sims is not bad too, e-cards rock and... ok maybe I am hooked on the computer. OMG! (Stands for oh my goodness, NOT Oh my G**, in case any of you get the wrong idea...) I've got the "Hooked on Computer Syndrome"! Just when I got out of the fainting thingie... Haiz... I'm jinxed. I realise that I have to go on the computer EVERY SINGLE day of the holidays, excluding the Florida trip and weekends. Whatever! It's still counted quite a lot. Ok maybe my life does suck... *deliberation* Maybe it's not that bad, excluding the fact that I'm still recovering from the jetlag from Florida, just recovered from the fainting spree, got hooked on the computer, about to take PSLE next year and still have to figure out the mystery of installing music on this blog, it's not that bad. My netball captain called me today and told me that there would be a friendly match with Rulang this Friday. Talk about bummer. If we lose this match, the netball team better be prepared to be "fried". BIG time. Praying hard. REAL hard.

I'm sure all of you must be wondering why I did not talk much about the Florida trip and put pics and all that jazz, right? Well, the trip has much too many exciting things for me to talk about, it'll probably take me a whole week to type it all out (inclusive of sleep and meals.). As for the pictures, it's another mystery. Hahas! Oh well, got to go back to my Neopets game so tata!

Rain, rain go away. Come again another day... Haiz... Me gosh! I don't like rainy days, in fact, I never did. Okok, maybe sometimes, it's a bit cooling... but today, it's a bit neutral. Rain, no rain? Doesn't matter... but it certainly is refreshing! Hahas!

Just came back from netball practice today. We went to CHIJ Our Lady of Nativity to play a friendly match and guess what??? We lost 16-8. This just goes to show that our netball team is slacking... Haiz... Just hope that that doesn't happen in the East Zone Competition next year.

Oh well... My mum went back to work today after 2 days of leave from the holiday. Haiz... So boring... It's better having a parent at home during the holidays. At least you get to go to places rather than staying at home all day. Plain BORING... As the saying goes "All good things must come to an end", the Florida trip is past but I still have pictures of DisneyLand and Universal Studios flashing through my mind. Guess I'll just have to wash those off my mind for school next year... Can't afford to be distracted.

What can I say? School life is more exciting... By the way, Christmas is coming!!! Ok, I guess all of you know that... Counting down the days to Christmas! I haven't done any Christmas shopping yet though the departmental stores are already holding sales for Christmas. Haiz... Time does fly, doesn't it? You just enjoy yourself overseas for two weeks and Poof! Here comes Christmas...

Yoz people! Came back from Florida liaos... The best trip ever miaox! I went to Universal Studios and Disneyland, went to a lot of dinner shows and also did loads of shopping! Hahas! Florida rox! I miss that place so much now! Haiz... but home is still the best! Hahas! Well, just wanted to update my blog a little... It seems like no one left a comment... but anyway, a new school year is starting and I don't think I'll have time to update this blog cuz' studying for PSLE mahx... Well, sad eh? I'll still try my best though.

Well, nothing happening during the holidays, it seems. Yvonne, my best companion and friend, has gone out of town so it's just me and my blogging. Haiz... Can life get ANY MORE boring??? Apparently, yes.

Just a little update... I have just finished reading the classic, Phantom of the Opera. It's really good, you know? I recommend all you people out there to read it. I just LOOOOOOVE the plot! The ending is quite touching and I really pity the Phantom... Haiz... Forbidden love...
